Tan Yen Yen is Senior Vice President, Applications, responsible for Oracle's
applications software business across Asia Pacific. Her responsibilities include a
focus on meeting customer business requirements through the use of Oracle's
complete, open, and integrated suite of products.

Prior to working for Oracle, Yen Yen was most recently Vice President and
Managing Director for HP Singapore, responsible for driving overall revenue and
profitability for HP in Singapore and for leading HP's enterprise business.

While at HP, she also served as Software Global Business Unit Director for
Southeast Asia and India and held regional and country management roles in
HP's sales and channels business. Before joining HP in 1993, she worked for the
Singapore Ministry of Defence Systems and Computer Organisation and for a
regional software company.

Yen Yen plays an active role in Singapore's infocomm industry. She serves as
Chairman of the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation Council and as
Deputy Chairperson on the Ministry of Information, Communications and the
Arts (MICA) Internet and Media Advisory Committee.
She is also a member of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore's
board, the Government Parliamentary Council of MICA, the Economic Strategies
Committee's IT Working Group subcommittee, and the National Grid Office's
Board of Advisors. In addition, she is a Director on the Defence Science and
Technology Agency (DSTA) board and Cap Vista, DSTA's strategic investment
arm.

Additionally, Yen Yen sits on the Board of Advisors of Singapore Management
University's School of Information Systems, National University of Singapore's
School of Computing, Singapore Institute of Management's International
Academic Panel, and Nanyang Polytechnic's School of Engineering.

Yen Yen has a degree in Computer Science from National University of Singapore
and an Executive MBA degree with Helsinki School of Economics Executive
Education.

Frank Koo

Frank Koo is the President of Pearson Education Singapore and Malaysia.  In his role, Frank is responsible for all of Pearson Education's business, including Publishing, Technology, Solutions, Assessment and e-Learning.
 
Frank started his career with IBM more than 20 years ago and has held positions in Product and Business Development, Channels Management, Industry Solutions and also managing the software and solutions business for an IBM subsidiary.
 
Prior to his current appointment, Frank has taken up management roles in Oracle over a period of 10 years, including Managing Director of Oracle Singapore and South Asia Growth Economies, Senior Director of Alliance and Channels, as well as Senior Director of e-Business.
 
Frank holds the Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore and is currently the 1st Vice Chairman of the Singapore infocomm Technology Federation. He is also a member of advisory board of the Schools of Information Technology for the Singapore Management University, Temasek Polytechnic and Nanyang Polytechnic.

Eddie Chau formed Brandtology in 2008 after successfully incubating e-Cop Pte Ltd, a company he founded in 2000, to a market leader in Info-Security Industry. e-Cop was acquired in 2007 by a wholly owned subsidiary of Temasek Holding Pte Ltd.

Brandtology is the leader in providing Business & Brand online intelligence services with proprietary technologies and proven process, combined with trained and experienced analysts, to help companies listen to the social media and make strategic decisions for their brands in a timely manner.

Before founding Brandtology, Eddie Chau was the Founder & CEO of e-Cop. He brought to the organisation his extensive experience in the IT. He led and charted all aspects of e-Cop group’s strategic direction from product development through to professional consultancy services, technology development, sales and global expansion. Under his dynamic leadership and vision, e-Cop has grown to be the market leader in the Info-Security industry with international presence spanning more than 20 countries.

Before founding and spearheading e-Cop in 2000, Chau held senior positions in IBM and Computer Associates Inc. With more than 20 years of experience in business and IT, he is often called upon by the industry to speak on information security issues and entrepreneurship. Chau has also appeared on CNBC Asia and Channel News Asia, Intelligent Enterprise, MIS Asia, Network Computing Asia and SC Magazine, to name a few.

Married with two children, Chau holds an MSc in Communication Engineering from Imperial College, London.

Lim Seng Kong

Lim Seng Kong joined SingTel on 15 November 2007 as Vice President (Global Accounts).  He leads the team in managing domestic and overseas corporate customers, providing customers with a full range of cost-effective telecommunications services and customized end-to-end solutions.

Prior to joining SingTel, Seng Kong was with Datacraft, a well established IT services and solutions company, for 14 years. He holds various positions such as Country Sales Manager, General Manager, Managing Director and Regional Director during his tenure there. His last role with Datacraft was Regional Director, ASEAN, where he was managing several ASEAN entities of the company including Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines. 

Seng Kong was also previously with IBM Singapore as Account Manager where he was responsible for the sales and account management functions.

Seng Kong attended the Stanford-National University of Singapore Executive Program and holds a Degree of Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Shirley Wong Swee Ping is an entrepreneur and has more than 16 years of experience in the IT industry. Shirley is the Co-Founder of Frontline Technologies Corporation Ltd, listed on the Singapore Exchange since March 2001. Frontline was recently acquired by British Telecom Global Services and is renamed as BT Frontline Pte Ltd. BT Frontline is a leading provider of end-to-end IT services that comprise IT consulting, IT infrastructure, systems integration as well as outsourcing. Shirley is currently the Managing Director of BT Frontline Pte Ltd.

Shirley serves in several infocomm industry committees, including being the Council Member of the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF),  member of National Trust Council (NTC) and Council member of Temasek Polytechnic IT School Advisory Council.

Prior to joining OPUS, Charles spent 23 years with Hewlett Packard and his last held position was Vice President for HP Global Services (IT Operations) with worldwide responsibility in managing HP’s outsourcing customers’ IT infrastructure.

In his spare time, Charles is involved in some social work and for recreation he enjoys deep sea fishing, cooking and a good round of casual golf. Charles is also interested in Traditional Chinese Medicine and practices Qigong.

Craig Gledhill is the Vice President of Cisco Consumer Products APAC, where he is responsible for the geography efforts of APAC Consumer functional departments and sales operations which includes retail, distribution, online retail, VAR channels and the implementation of go to market plans with service providers. His primary objective is to maximize growth opportunities in consumer market in order to position Cisco as a premium brand in APAC. 

Craig has more than 20 years in the technology industry, where he spent the past eleven years in a number of leadership roles at Cisco, including senior sales positions for large accounts and education verticals in Australia. Most recently, he served as the Managing Director of Cisco Systems, Singapore and Brunei.  Throughout his career, Craig has focused on working closely with industry, government and end users in identifying technology directions and strategies.

Craig is a council member of the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF).  He has served on the AmCham Singapore Board of Governors since 2005.

Foo Jong Tong is the Regional Executive for IBM WebSphere ILOG Software for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. He joined ILOG in 1995 and started the marketing arm for ILOG Asia Pacific and headed the sales and marketing arms, as well as the alliances and emerging markets in Asia Pacific. Under Jong Tong’s leadership, ILOG successfully expanded its business operations into Australia, China, India, Singapore, and South Korea. He was instrumental in developing and launching the Overseas Training Attachment Program, a joint initiative with the Economic Development Board (EDB) of Singapore and ILOG headquarters. He also set up the first Business Rule Management System Centre of Excellence (BRMS CoE) in Asia, based in Singapore, in collaboration with the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA).

With 20 years of experience in the Asia Pacific Information Technology industry, Jong Tong has been awarded Entrepreneur of the Year in an ILOG worldwide event held in Paris. Prior to ILOG, he was in the real-time Command, Control, Communication and Intelligence (C3I) business for commercial and defense, of which two years were spent in Sweden working as a Software Specialist and later Project Leader and Manager for one of largest defense contractors in Europe.

He represented SiTF as Council member for the Information Technology Standards Committee (ITSC) and is also a senior member (SMSCS) of the Singapore Computer Society. He served as Chairman of the Web-Service Chapter in 2005 and Service-Oriented-Architecture Chapter in 2006 and 2007. He is a Council member and an Honorary Treasurer of SiTF in 2008/09. He is also the organizing Chairman of SiTF 2009 ICT Business Outlook Forum.

Jong Tong holds a double degree in Mathematics (Major in Computer Science and Statistics) and Computer Science (Honors) from the University of Newscastle, Australia.

Howie Lau

Since joining the info-communications industry in 1993, Howie has taken on various roles ranging from e-business, public sector, security, e-procurement and personal computers.  Howie is currently the General Manager and Executive Director for Lenovo in ASEAN. He manages over 170 professionals across 6 countries with a focus on growing Lenovo faster and more profitably than the industry. He was previously General Manager for Lenovo Singapore, Indonesia and Philippines, and led the Singapore team’s successful post-acquisition transition from IBM Personal Computer Division to Lenovo. 

Prior to Lenovo, Howie was the Country Manager for Public Sector and Country Manager for e-Business for IBM. He has also served as General Manager for Ariba Singapore/Malaysia. 

Howie is currently serving on the Executive Council of Singapore Computer Society and Singapore infocomm Technology Federation. 

Howie graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA 1993).  He was recognized with the prestigious NUS Eminent Business Alumni Award in 2008.   For his contributions to Lenovo, he was a Torch Bearer during the Thailand leg of the Olympics 2008 Torch Relay.

Howie and Teresa have been happily married for 13 years and they have 3 lovely children. He has interests in South East Asian art and photography.

As Managing Director for Microsoft Singapore, Jessica is responsible for developing and driving growth strategies for the Microsoft’s business in Singapore, as well as deepening relationships with partners, customers and employees.

She also focuses on leading Microsoft’s ongoing corporate citizenship efforts in the country which includes Microsoft’s efforts to becoming a trusted industry partner who works with businesses, communities and governments to help advance social and economic well-being.

Jessica joined Microsoft five years ago as General Manager for the Enterprise and Partner Group in Asia Pacific and Greater China Region. She was responsible for driving Microsoft’s business with large customers in the region as well as partnerships with key Industry Solution Vendors, Service Providers and Business Partners as they relate to the Enterprise customers. In this role, she nearly doubled the business in three years. 

In 2006, she took on the role as General Manager Customer, Partner and Employee Experience for the Asia Pacific Region, rose to the challenge of re-invigorating our Customer and Partner Relationships in the Asia Pacific Region.  She also drove initiatives around Employee Readiness and Diversity to develop and attract the best talent pool for Microsoft and continue to make Microsoft a company where people can do their best work.

Jessica has nearly 20 years in the IT Industry, including 14 years with IBM, serving in various leadership positions in sales, services and strategic business development roles in Singapore and the Asia Pacific Region.

In May 2006, Jessica was elected as Member of Parliament in Singapore for the East Coast GRC. She is Chairman for the East Coast Town Council. Jessica is also Chairman for the Finance, Trade and Industry Group Parliamentary Committee (GPC) as well as Member of the Manpower GPC.

Jessica graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1989 with a Bachelors of Social Sciences (Honours). She majored in Sociology and Economics.

Jessica is married and has three children. In her free time, she enjoys jogging and cooking.

Ng Chong Khim

Ng Chong Khim is the Deputy President (Corporate Services & Marketing) of Singapore Technologies Electronics Limited. He oversees the Human Resource, Finance, Logistics/Materials/Facilities/Security Management and Corporate Marketing for the ST Electronics Group.

Chong Khim joined ST Electronics in July 1997 as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of CET Technologies (now ST Electronics-Infocomm). Prior to this appointment, he held senior management positions in several ICT companies, including Telecom Equipment (a subsidiary of SingTel) and Singapore Computer Systems.  He also served in the Singapore Ministry of Defence from 1981 to 1990 and held the appointment of Assistant Director (Communication Systems), responsible for the development and implementation of large scale communication systems.  Subsequently, he assumed the appointment of Deputy Director (Management Services) in Mindef.

Chong Khim is a director of the Boards of ST Electronics (Info-Comm Systems), ST Electronics (Satcom & Sensor Systems), ST Electronics (Info-Software Systems), ST Electronics (Info-Security), ST Electronics (Shanghai), ST Electronics (Taiwan), Datamark, Trusted Hub, Enigma Electronics, STELOP, E2 Multimedia, ST Electronics (e-Services) and iDirect Asia Pte Ltd.

He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Bachelor of Technology Programme of the National University of Singapore, a Council member of Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) and was Chairman of its Digital Media Chapter from 2007 - 2009; and a member of the  Engineering Advisory Committee of Nanyang Polytechnic.  Chong Khim sits in the External Review Panel of Institute of Technical Education Quality Assurance Framework (IQAF). He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES), a Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)  and a member of IES’s Systems Engineering Technical Committee.

Ng Chong Khim graduated with a Degree of Bachelor of Electrical Engineering  (First-Class Honours) and a degree of Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the National University of Singapore.  He also holds a Diploma in Management Studies from the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) and has completed the Programme for Management Development  (PMD) at Harvard Business School.

Married with one child, Mr Ng enjoys reading and golf.

Ng Tian Beng

Tian Beng is the South Asia General Manager with responsibility for the South Asia group of countries. This includes the ASEAN group of countries and  developing ones such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.  In this role, he has responsibility for all commercial accounts from small medium business to large enterprise and public (including government).

Prior to his present role he was the General Manager for Dell in Singapore and Brunei.  He had also held the position of the Director of Enterprise for Dell South Asia, with responsibility for the sales and marketing of Dell servers, storage and switches.  

He has been with Dell for more than 11 years and has held sales management roles with the Dell Asia Pacific Global Segment Team and the Singapore Large Corporate Account Sales Team.  Prior to Dell, Tian Beng was with Sony Electronics Devices where he was responsible for the sales of Sony computer peripherals to both OEMs and distribution channels in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Tian Beng is a native in Singapore and has a Degree in Marketing from Santa Clara University, USA and a MBA in Marketing from University of Western Australia.

Sian Lip is the Vice President of Solutions & Technology in CrimsonLogic. In his role as the head of Solutions, he drives CrimsonLogic’s partnership with governments for exploring their needs and crafting effective and appropriate eService solutions so that they may better serve their citizens. As Head of Technology, he promotes CrimsonLogic’s technological vitality so as to sustain its ability to harness cutting-edge technology in service of its customers’ needs.

Prior to joining CrimsonLogic, Sian Lip worked in the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) where he was responsible for security guidelines for mobile banking and payments, and financial sector infrastructure for trust and network-enabled services. Before MAS, he was a vice-president at a leading Singapore banking group where he was responsible for IT support, development, and strategy in trade finance, international payments, local inter-bank payments, loans administration, and international branches. He was also the group’s Y2K project manager where he managed the group’s preparations for the millennium rollover.

In addition to work in the banking sector, Sian Lip has also spent a decade carrying out research and development in artificial intelligence and computational linguistics at the Information Technology Institute and the Institute of Systems Science - both of which have been subsumed under the Laboratory for Information Technology.

Sian Lip holds a Masters of Business Administration (Banking & Finance) from the Nanyang Business School, a Masters in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelors degree with distinction in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University.

Lay Lim graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1985. Upon graduation, she joined IBM Singapore, and in 1988 joined Accenture Singapore.

In her tenure with Accenture she has worked with clients across various industries – including Financial Services, Government, Consumer Goods, Retail and Electronics & High Tech – in consulting engagements. These client engagements have also given Ms Teo the opportunity to work in locations outside of Singapore on an extended basis – including stints in France, Korea, Hong Kong and Malaysia. Her more recent clients include the National Healthcare Group, DBS Bank and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.

Today, in addition to the Country Managing Director role which she assumed on December 1, 2007, Lay Lim is the Managing Partner for Accenture’s Customer Relationship Management practice across the Asia Pacific region – a practice which helps our clients achieve high performance in Sales, Marketing and Customer Service. This practice spans the geographies of Japan, Korea, Greater China, ASEAN, Australia and India.  Beginning September 1, 2008, she also assumed the role for Managing Partner for Sustainability in Asia Pacific.

Tau Keon has started his career 25 years ago in Hewlett Packard Singapore R&D and has taken on many portfolios including worldwide product marketing, market development and technical marketing roles in HP.

He joined SingTel after 13 years in HP and played various roles including MD Business Markets to manage a large commercial team comprising more than 600 people serving all Corporate and SME customers of SingTel, as well as CEO of SingTel Yellow Pages looking after local directory business & served as board director for overseas investments and joint ventures.

Tau Keon has also served as CEO and MD for GreenDot Capital invested companies. Before joining MediaCorp 1-Net, Tau Keon was with EXPLOIT TECHNOLOGIES in A*STAR helping to commercialise the intellectual properties generated by the 14 R&D institutions in Singapore.

Tau Keon holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree with Honours from the National University of Singapore.  He completed his MBA exams at the National University of Singapore and did his residential Stanford Executive Program in Stanford University at Palo Alto, CA, USA.

He has served previously on the boards of various companies including SNS and Vice Chairman of Thai Yellow Pages. Recently, he has been appointed as Chairman of a regional Data Center Alliance in July 2008. Tau Keon has also been appointed as IDA SGIX Steering committee and pro-term committee in 2009.

Balachandran is a lawyer admitted to the Singapore Bar with 28 years of experience in cross-border transactions, Infocomm Technology and construction and engineering work , negotiating and drafting contracts and litigation in Court and arbitral process. He has done extensive work in commercialisation of various Infocomm Technology products and services and also acts for a leading European venture fund investing in early start-ups. He has also worked in London and HongKong.He also serves on the board of several companies he represents.

He is Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitration, UK, and the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators and is an arbitrator on the Regional Panel of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre. Balachandran is also an adjudicator on the panel of the Financial Services Dispute Resolution Centre(FIDReC) and an arbitrator on the panel of the Law Society of Singapore.

Ho Se Mun started her career as a marketing support executive in Fuji Xerox Singapore. During her tenure in Fuji Xerox, she had organized many events, run incentive programs, managed inventory, and her last job in the company was Corporate Planning and reporting directly to the Managing Director.

She then worked in Cellular Subscriber Group in Motorola Electronics. During which she had  headed functional roles such as Business Operations, Strategic Planning, Product Marketing for the Mobile Device Business in SEA. Se Mun was subsequently appointed General Manager for SEA Regional Accessory Business and had grown the business exponentially during her 2 year helming the business.

Se Mun joined Caliper, a HR consulting organisation with HQ based in Princeton, as the General Manager for their Singapore office before being recruited as the Executive Director of Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF).
